TBF AOY Team can advance directly to the National Championship

It is now possible to do directly from the NCTBF Team Trail to the National Championship and not have to fish the National Simi Final for District 2

To do this you and your fishing partner must Register for the team trail and also register for the $100 side pot that covers the AOY entry fee for the team

Who ever is the Registered Boater will be the boater at Nationals if you win and the co angler will be a co angler

This CAN NOT be changed during the year and you must follow all team trail rules to qualify, to be in this special group you must pay to fish all 6 team trail tournament's and your AOY will be based on your best 6 tournaments  

Team members must register with the state as the team boater/co-angler before their first qualifying event and they will advance from the state as the boater if they wind up state champions, the other team partner will advance as the co-angler. Again  NO exceptions and NO changes to this team is allowed IF one cannot go to the Federation Championship for any reason neither does the other team member, no exceptions it is the risk of running an team event we cannot have people picking partners after the fact for a Federation National Championship for any reason. If the two team members cannot figure that out the state presidents should not have to deal with partners breaking up etc. after the fact and down the road I had this come up can my partner pick a new partner, etc. They both go as they qualified or the spot is lost. It CANNOT change we will NOT go down a team the list to 2nd or 3rd team on the list. We cannot let an angler pick a partner as we cannot get into picking partners after the fact for the FNC.

These same two people (State Champions) off a team format may wish to go to also go to the NSF as well and fish for the money or the camaraderie.
